Dr. Sarah Mitchell, DVM
Dr. Sarah Mitchell is a board-certified Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a passion for preventive care and a gift for connecting with both animals and their owners. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, she grew up surrounded by animals and knew from childhood that veterinary medicine was her calling.
After graduating summa cum laude from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Mitchell completed a prestigious one-year clinical internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania's Ryan Veterinary Hospital. She then joined a multi-specialty practice in Seattle, where she honed her surgical skills and developed a deep interest in integrative veterinary approaches.
In 2016, Dr. Mitchell returned to Portland and founded Fahad Pets Clinic with a single vision: to create a veterinary practice where every pet is treated as family, and where evidence-based medicine is always delivered with empathy and respect.
